E. DİDEM BURAKBAŞA

Born in 1971 in Istanbul. After completing her secondary education in Robert College, Istanbul, she went to Austria to study architecture. During her highschool years, she visited Istanbul State Conservatory piano department and graduated in 1989. She started studying architecture in Vienna in 1990. During her university years, she worked at various well known architecture offices in Vienna. After graduating from Vienna Technical University in 2002 with a masters degree, she continued working at Atelier Stelzhammer in Vienna until 2005. In 2005, she won the first prize in a national competition in Turkey for the Bursa branch office of the Turkish National Bank with Ömer Selcuk Baz and founded "Denge Mimarlik Hizmetleri" with her partner Ömer Selcuk Baz in Istanbul. Since 2005 they have taken part in various national and international competitions, won awards and realized various projects. She continues her work at Denge Mimarlik Hizmetleri.
